The word 'Da'wah' literally means "Inviting people to Islam". The Al Qur'an is Allah(swt)'s message for the whole humanity to come till the end of this world and it has laid great emphasis on Da'wah. Infact a Muslim's life is supposed to be a "Da'wah" for mankind. There are different levels at which individual Muslims can do Da'wah and can be performed in many ways. Some might be doing it through face to face medium, some might writing through journals, magazines and some might be using recent medium (social network) facebook and blogs. As far as the ultimate aim is pass the word of Al Quran then it is also Da'wah. But, it is hence essential to understand the basic principles of Da'wah.
